Stages of Silicone Render
Stage 1
Remove all flaking paint and apply a red grit to allow bonding to base coat.
Stage 2
Apply a breathable silicone render base coat 5-6 millimetres.
Stage 3
Pin the wall so no render come loose on the wall in the future.
Stage 4
Trowel in a mesh into the base coat, then scratch/base coat and allow to dry.
Stage 5
Apply a further 4-millimeter render on top of scratch coat and fine down.
Stage 6
Apply bonding coat before applying the silicone render.
Stage 7
Render a silicone mix top coat 1.5mm in a colour of your choice to the render.
